Another skater organized fund raiser for Burnside Skatepark. The money raised at this event will help fund renovations, new additions and lighting for the park. Listen up all you trash bags, head bangers and sluts out there we are throwing another benefit concert in honor of our seriously ill friend Xavier Pinard, he has been hospitalized for over a month now and is expecting a year long recovery. Even if youre not close with x come out and show support to this worthy cause.
The donation jar will be going around and the beer will be flowing. We will also be having a basement sale with t-shirts, tapes, records, c.d's, skateboards and more. so please donate your old stuff to xavier's basement sale, if your things do not sale reclaim them at the end of the night. Hi friends and family, Jason can really use your help. For those that aren't aware, Jason was the victim of a shooting in SE Portland and sustained critical, life threatening injuries. He was shot once through his liver and has a bullet lodged in his spine. The doctors said it is a miracle he survived as the bullet was less than a millimeter away from a major blood vessel and his cental nervous system. It's too dangerous to remove, so it's something he'll always have inside him. He has many additional complications as well. While Jason has made some improvements and is talking and reaching out to some of you, he still has very severe injuries and a long and difficult road to recovery- he can really use your help and support.Jason is one of the best friends you could ever have and will do anything to help the people who are close to him. He is incredibly talented- ripping skater, motorcycle madman, car racer, master mechanic, DJ, analong beat maker, rhyme sayer, artist, and all around on one of the coolest dudes you will ever meet...Jason's recovery will be long and difficult and the financial impacts are very stressful. Besides recovering from his injuries, he needs physical and emotional therapy and won't be able to work for quite some time. He doesn't really have insurance or any disablity and one can only guess how much this will cost.I am asking for any finanacial help you can provide, even if it's a small donation. If you can't help financially, he will need assistance in other ways once he is out of the hospital. Additionally if anyone has ideas for a benefit etc.. please contact me and I'll be happy to help.
